Sydney Plumridge died from unspecified causes on 10th August, 1917, while serving with the 7th Rifle Brigade in France It is not known if he died from wounds or from illness, both of which took their toll of the men on the Western Front. The 7th Rifle Brigade were part of 41 Brigade, 14th Division and for the first two weeks of August, 1917 were training near Hazebrouck before moving to Ypres. |
